  3. Thank You Letter - Thank you letters get sent within 24-48 hours of the interview.  Use a formal salutation unless you are personally acquainted with the hiring panel, committee or interviewer.  Thank you letters should provide enough details about the interview so that the person who interviewed you will remember you.  The letter will briefly express your interest in the position and your appreciation to the employer  for their interest in you.  Also you can enclose any requested documentation such as transcripts or personal reference letters with your thank you letter.  It demonstrates that you have good manners and know how to write a thank you letter, and if you thought of something you forgot to mention in the interview, mention it in your thank you letter.  It also can be used to provide any additional information the employer may have asked for.

Generally you would mention a few of the topics you discussed in the interview in the follow-up letter and you would match your qualifications to each topic.  Then a few sentences expressing your interest in the job.  Its purpose is to leave a remarkable impression on the people who will ultimately will be in charge of hiring you and will boast your character, reputation and your integrity. It reiterates your interest in the position and in the organization and will have a direct impact on the hiring division and show not only your desire to become part of their company or organization.

Personal Biography – This is a tool that will make prospective employers see what separates you from the pack but makes you unique and relatable to the position and company, and will make you distinguishable.  It will allow you to touch on all the important times in you life and/or careers and will demonstrate this while grabbing the reader’s attention. It will give the reader a great sense about you as you reveal to them your accomplishments. It will make you noticeable in a very good, unique way. This is something that employers will probably look at before they decide to interview and/or potentially hire you. This should demonstrate your can-do attitude and excellent personality traits while self-promoting yourself. I will make it interesting, professional, and unique to you.

  6. Professional Reference Sheet – The Purpose of a Professional Reference Sheet is to have a list of people who can verify and elaborate on you professionally as well as personally.
